“Americana” is our Gala Theme this Year, Sat. 6:00 p.m., Feb. 25th   Sold Out!  Waiting List—contact the church office.   Auction items are needed;  contact the church office if you have an item or service to donate!  

Attention Young Readers:   On the fourth Sunday of the month, elementary age children will have an opportunity to visit the church library at the conclusion of Children's Church.  They will be able to check out Christian books to    enjoy reading throughout the year.  Parents can enjoy perusing the wide variety of genres offered as well.  Books can be returned and new ones checked out anytime the library is open on Sundays and Wednesdays or during church hours.  There is a self-serve check out notebook near the window.  If you have any questions please see Kaye Litzinger or Suzie Dominique.

Military Ministry:  Next Meeting:  March 14 (No April Meeting)

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Sanctuary at 11:30 a.m. Please come and help us stuff boxes, write cards, and enjoy great fellowship.  Don’t forget to save those grocery coupons. –please cut them out and sort them!   These go to the commissary in Germany for the military families stationed there.  Please check the list of supplies needed at our table in the back main hallway.  We thank you for your support and contributions. 

Intercessory Prayer Group: Meets at 10:00 a.m. on the 1st Thursday of each month in the Library.  Come and join us as we pray for our Parkway family, those who are ill or injured, and our  greater community.  We meet for about one hour. Please join us on March 1st!

Prime Timers’ (55+) next luncheon date is Friday, March 2nd 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.  Sylvia Broome will speak about her mission to women-in-crisis (homeless/abused/drug addiction) in downtown Atlanta living on the streets or in temporary shelters. Sylvia will be talking about her outreach efforts which include Bible studies, bringing hot food and drinks, providing personal hygiene items, and just making contact through listening to these women.  Please bring a dish to share.  Contact Dee Hayward or Nancy McHale for details.

Parkway Preschool:  Are you a Publix shopper?  Pick up a Publix discount key card on the table in the main hallway (basket), swipe your card at check-out and 4% goes to our Preschool!  Contact the Preschool for more information:  678.513.3909.

Stephen Ministry:  A ministry of our congregation that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.  Please contact Norman Baker,  Phone:770-886-0439.    

Library Ministry:  Thank you for all the generous donations of books that have been made.  The Parkway Library will soon be ready with many new titles for you to enhance your Christian education and pleasure reading.  The Library is open for browsing during church office hours, Monday-Friday.  Sit and read and relax awhile or check out your selections on a self-serve basis.
