Adel Thalos, Pastor
Pastor Adel (pronounced like Se”attle”) Thalos was born in Cairo Egypt and immigrated to Denver Colorado when he was 5 years old. He graduated from Denver Theological Seminary with his MDiv in 1999. In 1991 he met his wife Lynne and they were married in 1992. Lynne is a remarkably accomplished woman, with degrees in Pharmacy, Journalism and a masters of arts in Christian Counseling. They have three adult sons, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. After serving many years in youth ministry and as a ruling elder in his home church, he received his first full time call as pastor to Church of the Savior, in Wichita, Kansas. From there the Lord called him to serve as Singles minister at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Wichita, while also serving as adjunct professor of Bible at Butler County Community College and later at Friends University. In 2005, he was called to be associate pastor of Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer in Snellville, GA. Later he was called to serve at Valleybrook Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Hixson, TN, where he served for over six years. The Lord then called him into transitional ministry within the EPC. He first served in revitalization as intentional transitional pastor at Farner EPC in Farner, TN. In July he was called as transitional pastor at Parkway Church. Adel and his wife Lynne are excited about how the Lord is working in the life of the EPC for His glory.

Over the last 20 years he has been blessed to serve Churches in Casa Crande, AZ and Johns Creek, GA, before coming to Parkway. His passion is to help people of all ages come to know and truly love Jesus, and be equipped to live as God's children here and now. Matthew has been married to Sidney for nearly 23 years. Together they find great joy in raising their Spartan-racing, Lego-building, Ninja Warrior sons, Scott (11) and Luke (8). Matthew enjoys playing basketball, golfing, fishing, and just getting out into God's creation. But, even more than those things, he would love to sit down with you to hear your story and help you develop a purposeful path for growing in your faith.

Will has a passion for reaching the lost. As the youth director, he desires to see students come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
